We have a new policy on free appraisals: these are carried out by appointment at the Shops at 27 S. Main. The free appraisal is an opinion of market value, and assumes we will be buying your stamps. We may make a small charge for detailed appraisals or appraisals when we do not buy your stamps. Just call us at 864-836-2577 for details or to make an appointment.

WE ALSO HAVE OLD SUPPLEMENTS! Last year, we got a pickup truck load (34 file boxes!)
from an old dealers stock. They include White Ace, Harris, Scott, and Minkus. We have now listed almost all of them on E-bay, either at auction or Buy-it-now in our E-bay store (link above) . If you need supplements,Check out our store. Don't ask us about a specific supplement though, we don't know what is back in the storage room .

Along with the supplements, we got about 30 Harris 2-post binders in used condition. Most are missing some of the gold from the back, but every one is complete, intact and sturdy. The perfect ones go to auction, the rest you can buy for $2.50 each, plus actual shipping charge if you do not pick them up.

Also, we have started a perfin circuit, with scans of new perfins circulating by E-mail weekly. Just send us some E-mail to try out the circuit if you are a perfin collector. If interest warrants, we will have a similar circuit of precancels.

ARE WE BUYING?

We have discontinued our toll free number. We found most of the folks using it were calling to find out the value of modern US stamps. In general, stamps issued after the 1938 presidential series catalog for 2x face value, and wholesale for 60-100% of face vaue. At present, we are only buying these modern stamps in complete mint sheets and booklet panes, and our price depends on what you have. Call 864-836-2577 for more information.

If you have older stamps, or world stamps, we gladly buy them if they are in salable condition. We generally pay about the same as we would pay for the same item on E-bay it it were properly identified and expertised. However, we do the work of identifying the stamps and take the risk that they need expertising, thus saving you some money.
